Leeber, Blaise W. “Billy”, Jr. of Hull, died unexpectedly in his home on June 25, 2009. The beloved husband of 39 years to Brenda (Bumpus) Leeber. Loving father of Katherine Anne (Leeber) Johnson of Barrington, RI , Elizabeth Jane Leeber of Brooklyn, NY and the late Benjamin Blaise Leeber. Devoted Grandpa of Marissa, Maxwell and Violet. Son of the late Blaise W. Leeber and Anna G. (White) Leeber. Cherished brother of Mary Achorn and her husband Bob of Hanover, John Leeber and his wife Maureen of Hull, Leslie Meade and her husband Richard of Hanover and Paul Leeber and his wife Ellen of Hull. Dear son-in-law of Marguerite and the late Curtis Bumpus. Blaise is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins and many friends. Blaise was the President of BL Trading in Hanover for 21 years. He was a kind and caring person with an unfailing generosity of spirit. He loved being with his family and friends, especially his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. Blaise loved the ocean and enjoyed fishing and clam digging. He also spent his time gardening, golfing, cooking and reading. Words alone cannot describe the depth, courage, humor and fullness of this man. He will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull on Thursday, July 2 at 10 am. Visiting hours in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. Hingham Tuesday 4-8 pm and Wednesday 4-8pm. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Blaise may be made to either Hull Public Library Foundation, PO Box 428, Hull, MA 02045 or Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.
