Bill Garrity

Bill Garrity, 62, of Weymouth, passed away on June 27, 2016.

Bill worked for many years for the Town of Weymouth as a foreman for the Water Department. One of his greatest loves was his Harley Davidson, which he and his wife enjoyed riding for many years. Bill was a hockey goalie in a weekly pickup game for over 40 years and very well known for having the most beautiful garden in his neighborhood. He was an avid Patriots fan, Three Stooges fan, and also enjoyed watching the show American Pickers. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Beloved husband of Nancy J. (Rudolph) Garrity. Loving father of Kelly E. Garrity and Daniel J. Garrity, both of Weymouth. Son of Helen E. Garrity and the late Paul F. Garrity. Brother of Patricia Garrity, Marybeth Garrity, Jack Garrity, Mark Garrity, Susan Garrity, and the late Paul Brian Garrity. Dear cousin of Fran Cameron and her husband, Dick. Dear friend of the late Kenny Jones. Also survived by his pets, Pearl, Lola, and Ringo.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Streets), followed by his Funeral Service at 7 PM at the funeral home. Per Bill’s wishes, encouraged attire for the services is Harley Davidson t-shirts and jeans.
