Beverly L. Ayers

Ayers, Beverly L.(Joy ) 75, of North Quincy, passed away peacefully at home on September 24,2009. Beloved wife of the late Charles J. Ayers. Loving mother of Charles W. “Chuck” Ayers and his wife Judith of Squantum and State Representative Bruce J. Ayers and his wife, Maureen of North Quincy. Cherished grandmother of Lauren, Stephanie, Bryan and Peter Ayers all of Squantum. Devoted sister of Joseph M. Joy of Quincy, Kenneth W. Joy of North Carolina and Lois Pimentel of Squantum. Mrs. Ayers was retired from Coopers & Lybrand, Price Waterhouse in Boston. Beverly was also the Administrative Assistant of the South Shore District Dental Society for a number of years. Mrs. Ayers was raised in Squantum and was a life long resident of North Quincy. She was a graduate of the Class of 1951 of North Quincy High School. She had been a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Wollaston since her marriage there in 1956. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday, September 27, 2009 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Monday, September 28, 2009 prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Burial in Saint Mary’s Cemetery , Quincy. Donations in memory of Beverly may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Baystate Dr., Braintree, MA 02184.
