Beverly Joann Burns

Burns, B. JoAnn (Grenier) of Weymouth, died January 6, 2016 at the age of 82.

Wife of the late Joseph R. Burns. JoAnn operated JoAnn’s Art Studios and was an oil painting teacher for 25 years. She enjoyed traveling and quilting with her group of friends in Florida. She was a member of Crosstown Quilters.  She wintered in the Roadrunner Travel Resort with many dear friends and enjoyed exploring the country with her family in their motor home. Loving mother of Donna Cady and husband Matthew, Diane Burns, all of Weymouth, Joseph R. Burns, Jr. of Plymouth, Jeffrey Burns and wife Marcia of Braintree, and JoAnn Oliveira and husband John of Stoughton. Cherished grandmother of Michelle Chartier, Andrea Howe, Jeffrey Burns, Jr., Max Burns, Ryan Burns, Taylor Burns, Kayla Oliveira, Kamryn Oliveira, and great grandchildren Lila Rose Chartier, Breaden Chartier and Nicholas Howe. Sister of Judy Briggs and Sandra Bleakley. JoAnn shared a special relationship with her nephew Robert Orenstein.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Square). Family and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Service at 10 AM in Pilgrim Congregational Church, 24 Athens St., Weymouth. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
