Beverly J. Whalen

Whalen, Beverly J. (Nelson) of Quincy, died January 27, 2010 on her 65th birthday. Beloved wife of the late William Whalen. Devoted sister of Donald Nelson and his wife Marsha of Weymouth, Paul Nelson of South Yarmouth and Elaine MacKay and her husband Norman of Wickford, RI. Beverly is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Beverly was a lifelong resident of Quincy. She was a graduate of North Quincy High School class of 1962. Beverly was an avid reader and enjoyed boating. Beverly worked for Quincy Mutual Fire Insurance Company for 20 years. Beverly spent several winters in Ft. Lauderdale Florida with her husband William. Beverly always enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday February 1, 2010 from 5- 7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday February 2, 2010 at 10 AM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery,Bourne.
