Beverly grew up on Fort Point Rd in North Weymouth, MA, and raised her two sons in Weymouth. Reconnecting with her high school sweetheart after 35 years, Beverly and Bill built a life together in Henniker, NH, on Keiser Lake, where they enjoyed entertaining friends and family. Beverly returned to Weymouth after Bill’s passing. Beverly often spoke of her Henniker friends and remembered them fondly.
Beverly was a talented seamstress and quilter who enjoyed making beautiful quilts for her loved ones. During the pandemic, Bev made hundreds of masks for family, friends, and even some local businesses that she frequented. Beverly worked as a Cook at Easter’s Country Kitchen for many years, as well as Head Cook at Camp Burgess on Cape Cod for countless Summers. Some of her most cherished moments were spent cooking with her father, Nat, at Camp Burgess and teaching her nieces and nephews to cook.
Her greatest joy was caring for her grandchildren and spending time with her nieces and nephews, passing on her love of cooking, sewing, and reading. Beverly was a lifelong supporter of Troop 19 out of Weymouth, where her son Russell and her grandson Ryan both earned their Eagle Scout Awards. Bev was the recipient of the Troop 19 Bronze Arrowhead Award, recognizing adults who have given exceptional support, above and beyond any reasonable expectation, in 1981. Beverly will be remembered by many as a smart and thoughtful nurturer who had a great sense of humor and was always there for her loved ones to lend a hand or just listen. She was a wonderful friend to many and we thank you for your love and friendship on her behalf.
