Beverly A. Cummings

Cummings, Beverly A. (Uvanitte, Operach) age 68, formerly of Quincy formerly of Braintree passed away unexpectedly July 22, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late John Cummings.  Loving mother of Denise Operach- Shakespeare of Holbrook, Deborah Operach of Milton, Paula Operach and her husband Scott Wirtanen  of Hanover and Jennifer Creesy and her her husband Scott of Taunton.  Sister of Paul Uvanitte of Lakeville and Joanne Uvanitte of Halifax. Cherished grandmother of Emilee, Ella, Nick, Jake, Chloe, Patrick, Adam, Carter and Brendan. She is also survived by her nephew Gary.

Beverly was born and raised in Quincy. She worked as a business manager for 30 years. She traveled to Ohio with her husband John where they lived for several years before returning to Quincy in 2011 after the death of her husband. Beverly enjoyed going on cruises, amusement parks, the beach and most importantly spending time with her family.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2:30- 6:30PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
