Betty Wing Yuen Tang (Yue)

Betty Wing Yuen Tang (Yue), the devoted mother to her son Marvin Tang, passed away on May 30, 2023.  Born in Kowloon, Hong Kong on November 20, 1966. Betty is survived by her son Marvin Tang, her mother Yuet Lau Leung, her four sisters (one older sister Wing Yan Cindy Yue, and three younger sisters, Wing Tan Sara Yue, Wing Sze Rosemary Yue, and Wing Kam Mandy Yue), aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and a niece.  Betty was preceded in death by her father, Tong Yue.

Betty immigrated to the United States years ago, and with hard work and perseverance, she received a degree in Business Administration with high honors from Quincy College in 1999.  She was industrious and hard-working at every task.  As one coworker commented, “Nothing was given to her, she earned it.”   For the last 19 years, Betty worked as an Accounting Supervisor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Environmental Police.

In 2004, Betty came into contact with Jehovah’s Witnesses and began studying the Bible. The precious truths she learned motivated Betty to dedicate her life to her God, Jehovah and she was baptized on October 25, 2009. Her strong desire to share Bible truths with others moved her to serve as a regular pioneer starting in March of 2015, a work she zealously engaged in for the rest of her life.

As a single parent, Betty worked hard to provide for her family and to instill her love for Jehovah and commitment to leading a meaningful life of service in her son.  She had an incredibly generous spirit and an infectious positive outlook.  Although suffering from a chronic lung condition, she never allowed her health issues to keep her from living a life filled with purpose, centering every day around generosity, helping, caring, and loving everyone she met whether it was at the office, in a public setting, at home, or in the Kingdom Hall.  She is irreplaceable.

Without question, our dear and beloved Betty will always live on in our memories as an example in all areas of life and will be remembered as an outstanding daughter, sister, mother, colleague, and dear friend.  We all look forward to welcoming Betty back to the new world that Jehovah has lovingly promised.

余詠圓女士 (簡稱 Betty) 1966年11月20日在香港九龍區出生，于2023年5月30日去世。對兒子唐思翰來說，Betty 是一位盡心盡力，無可替代的母親。Betty 遺下的親屬包括﹕獨子唐思翰，母親梁月柳，大家姐余泳因,三妹余詠旦, 四妹余詠施, 五妹余詠琴；嬸母鄺貝珍；两位姑姐；姨妈：梁素琴，梁素定，梁素貞，梁素韻和梁素娟；舅父：梁展華和梁振強；堂弟：余世詒和余世豪；表哥：David Law, Benny Law,和 Clarence Law；表姐：羅碧鳳和羅碧聯，姨甥：李宗承，謝建豐和謝建泰；还有姨甥女李嘉玲。 Betty 的父親余棠早已離世。

Betty 早年移居美國後，憑藉勤奮和毅力，於 1999年以優異的成績獲得麻省昆西學院工商管理專業的學位。一位同事給 Betty 的評價是：”她的成就是全憑自己的進取與努力争取得到的。” 過去 19 年來，Betty 一直在麻州政府的環保警察部任職會計主管。

2004年 Betty 與耶和華見證人接觸並開始學習聖經。當她學到寶貴的聖經真理後，受到激勵，決心將自己的一生獻給她的上帝耶和華，並於 2009 年 10 月 25 日受浸。由於渴望與人分享聖經真理，這促使她從 2015 年 3 月開始從事正規先驅工作，献出更多的時間幫助人明白聖經。

作為一位單親母親，Betty 勤懇工作，照顧家人物質所需，同時努力幫助兒子培養對耶和華的愛，期望他也能過有意義的生活，為上帝服務。她為人慷慨好客，做事積極，樂於助人。儘管患有慢性氣管病，但她從未讓自己的健康問題阻止她積極地運用她的一生。無論是在辦公室、公眾場合、家裡、還是在王國聚會所，她都以慷慨好客的精神、關懷的態度對待身邊的人。

毫無疑問，親愛的 Betty 將永遠活在我們的記憶中，她確實是一位孝順的女兒、好姐妹、盡責的母親，並深受同事朋友的愛戴。

約翰福音 5：28，29說：“不要為這件事驚訝，因為時候會到，所有在墳墓裡的人都會聽到他的聲音，就出來 。。。”

我們期待在耶和華上帝應許的新世界裡與 Betty 重聚。
