Beth E. Igo

Igo, Beth E. of Quincy, formerly of Hingham, died October 6, 2013. 

Beth had a love of all animals and was active in their care.  She had her own dogs, cats and guinea pigs.  A professional dog walker for over 20 years, she owned the A Walk in the Park Pet Sitting Service.  Proud of her Irish heritage, she loved anything from Ireland.  She was also an athlete that excelled in ice hockey and later coached a girls hockey team.  She will be remembered for her compassion, patience, dedication and infectious laugh. 

Beloved daughter of Richard A. Igo, Sr. and Mary Louise (Strange) Igo, both of Hingham.  Loving sister of Timothy Igo and his wife Lauren of Buffalo, NY, Jon Igo of Hingham, and Richard A. Igo, Jr. and his wife Julie of Weymouth.  Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
