Bertha A. Abbott

Abbott, Bertha A. (Smith) of Hingham formerly of Roslindale, March 2, 2003. Born on Cape Sable Island, Nova Scotia October 27, 1908. Beloved wife of the late Ernest M. Abbott. Loving mother of Charles B. Abbott and his wife Toni of Hingham and Ernest “Bud” Abbott and his wife Joan of S. Weymouth. Devoted grandmother of Gregory of CA, Sabrina, Charles and Julie of MA and Sharon of CT. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Charter member of the Descendants of Ralph Smith, Inc. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in First Baptist Church, 85 Main Street (corner of Elm Street) Hingham Thursday at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury. Bertha was an avid Red Sox Fan. She was a charter member of the Descendants of Ralph Smith, Inc.
