Bernice J. Dever

Bernice J. (Martineau) Dever, of Quincy, died April 23, 2013. 

Bernice was a lifelong resident of the City of Quincy and she and her husband have been married for 50 years.  A bookkeeper for 34 years, she retired in 1979 from Carter-Rice Paper Company in Boston.  She enjoyed her pets, taking care of her home, gardening, traveling and the Red Sox. 

Beloved wife of Henry B. Dever of Quincy.  Daughter of the late George J. Martineau and Anna A. (Mercier).  Loving sister of the late Josephine Martineau, Beatrice Garland, Elaine Zoia, Edward Martineau, and Alice Carney.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM.  Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Bernice may be made to Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02171.
