Bernard T. Spellman, Jr.

Bernard T. “Buddy” Spellman, of Safety Harbor, FL and Saratoga, N.Y. passed away on March 27th, 2018 after a brief bout with cancer.

Buddy was born in Jamaica Plain, a son of the late Bernard T. and Edith I (Roche) Spellman. He leaves his daughter, Renee Opperman. Brother of Judith Alconada, Herbert Spellman and his wife, Barbara, Mary Jane Abruzzese and her husband, Larry, and Deborah Spellman. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Buddy was a veteran of the United States Army, 245th Ordinance Company. Buddy was an avid golfer and he owned Spellbound Stable and many race horses.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday 9-10 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), followed by his Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1 PM
