McNulty, Bernard J.Sr.of Hingham, formerly of Milton, February 9, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude E. (Mahoney) McNulty. Devoted father of Bernard J. McNulty, Jr. and Stephen R. McNulty, both of Marshfield, Marie E. and her husband Thomas O’Connor of Scituate, Nancy J. and her husband H. Scott Sanborn of Hingham, and Susan Lee of VA. Brother of Kathleen MacDonald of Wrentham, David McNulty of Bourne, Fr. Robert E. McNulty of Marshfield, and the late Dr. John J. McNulty, Edward P. and William McNulty, Eleanor Sylvia, and Mary McNulty. Also lovingly survived by his grandchildren Tommy, Chris and Katie O’Connor, Scott and Meaghan Sanborn and Ryan and Stephen McNulty, Jr. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham, Tuesday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Green Harbor at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. WWII USMC veteran. Donations in memory of Mr. McNulty may be made to American Diabetes Assn., 330 Congress St., Boston, MA 02210-1216 Mr. McNulty was born in Boston and graduated from Roslindale High School and then attended Bryant & Stratton Business School in Boston. He was a Boston Police Officer for 17 years at Station 11 in Dorchester. Bernard later became Supervisor of Attendence for the Boston Public Schools for 18 years. Mr. McNulty was an avid golfer and was a member of The North Hill Golf Club in Duxbury. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in West Roxbury, St. Vincent DePaul Society at Holy Name Parish in West Roxbury and a member of The Green Harbor Yacht Club in Marshfield. Bernard enjoyed bowling. Mr. McNulty was a WWII USMC Veteran and fought with the 1st Marine Division at Guadal Canal.
