Beatrice V. Nicholas

Nicholas, Beatrice V. (Morin), age 97, of Quincy died May 10, 2008. Wife of the late Edward Nicholas. Devoted mother of Roger A. Nicholas and his wife Joyce of Sharon, Donald B. Nicholas of Westwood, and the late Ted Nicholas. Cherished grandmother of Donald Nicholas, Jr. of Charlotte NC and Westwood, Lisa Nicholas of Waltham, Christopher Nicholas of Westwood, Kevin Nicholas of England, Steven Nicholas of Sharon and 4 great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bea resided in Quincy for over 60 years. She took great pride in the city and was a member of several walking clubs, including the Quincy Sr. Olympics, where she won 73 gold and silver medals. She was a member of the NQ Library Association, Beechwood Senior Group, the Quincy Historical Society and Great Book clubs. She enjoyed painting and was a “Rambler” with Edward Rowe Snow, the famous author of sea tales. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. QUINCY, Thursday at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
