Beatrice L. Blanchard

Blanchard, Beatrice L. (McCarthy) of Weymouth, died May 2, 2023. She was 93 years old.

Daughter of Charles and Beatrice (Wright) McCarthy and step-sister of the late Dean Annis of Wollaston.

Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Donald H. Blanchard of North Weymouth.

Devoted mother of Karen Harrington and her husband Paul of Lynnfield, Diane DeCristofaro and her husband Ted of Plymouth and Lynn Blanchard-Caesar and her husband Dr. Richard Caesar of Swampscott. Cherished gram of Stephanie Ferguson and her husband Keith of Virginia, Shaylyn Maguire and her husband Neil of Nantucket, Dr. Emily Janak and her husband Lalit of Chicago, Kerstin Caesar of Texas, Dr. Benjamin Caesar and his fiancé Sophie Geelhoed of Maine, and Laina Caesar of Colorado. Great-granddaughters Riley Ferguson and Molly Maguire.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 13 at 11:00 AM in Pilgrim Congregational Church, Weymouth. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Beatrice may be made to Mayor’s Beautification Fund c/o Wessagusett Wetland & Woodland, Weymouth Town Hall, 75 Middle Street.
