Barry K. Sullivan

Sullivan, Barry K. of Hanover, died July 14, 2015, at his home after a long illness with heart disease.

Barry was a graduate of Cambridge High and Latin School and American University in Washington, D.C., as a undergraduate, studied in Spain.  An avid reader, Barry was a lover of animals and also enjoyed travel. The family would like to thank the staff at both Beth Israel Hospital Coronary Care Unit in Boston and South Shore Hospice for the wonderful care extended to him. Barry was a Spanish teacher for many years in the Cambridge Public School System. He will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Beloved husband of  Michael P. O’Sullivan of Hanover. Loving brother of John Sullivan and his wife, Janet, of Pembroke, Mark Sullivan and his wife, Cheryl, of Falmouth and the late Kevin Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend during visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 7:45 AM Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, Hanover at 9AM. Cremation will follow.
