Barbara M. Linnehan

Linnehan, Barbara M. (Ruger) of Quincy, passed away June 17, 2011. Beloved wife of 58 years to John ‘Jack’ Linnehan of Quincy. Loving mother of John E. Linnehan of Plymouth, Paul J. Linnehan of Quincy, Patricia A. Collins of Quincy, Peter E. Linnehan of Quincy, Daniel L. Linnehan of Foxboro, Nancy A. Brennock of Jacksonville, FL, Tara M. Linnehan of Quincy and the late Diane M. Deshler and Michael J. Linnehan . Sister of Audrey Ruger and Emery Ruger, both of New York and the late Pearl Bordi, Gloria DeHart and Louis Ruger. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was born in Modena, New York and had lived in Northboro for many years before moving to Quincy in 1962. She was the oldest of six children to the late Emery and Pearl (Lewis) Ruger. Barbara took much pride being around her family and grandchildren and in her spare time, enjoyed traveling and crocheting. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
