Barbara M. (Miller) Donovan of North Weymouth, died December 14, 2017 surrounded by family.
Barbara enjoyed puzzles and cribbage games with family, playing golf and walking Nantasket Beach. She was fiercely devoted to her family and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved, especially her children. She will be remembered for her kindness and strength of character.
Beloved wife of Timothy E. “Dinny” Donovan of North Weymouth. Devoted mother of Tim E. Donovan, Jr., Emily, Nora and Katie Donovan, all of North Weymouth. Daughter of the late Eugene and Eleanor Miller. Loving sister of Peter Miller of Plymouth, Eleanor Watson of Plymouth, Nancy Miller of Braintree, Susan Lescarbeau of North Weymouth, James Miller of North Weymouth, Catherine Gardner of South Weymouth and the late Eugene Miller, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barbara may be made to South Shore Visiting Nurses Association, 30 Reservoir Park Dr., Rockland, MA 02370 or Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.
