Barbara M. Bertoni

Bertoni, Barbara M. (Kelly), age 66, of Hough’s Neck, Quincy, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.

Barbara was an Emergency Room Nurse for 31+ years, saving lives at the Carney Hospital and loved her co-workers, as she loved family and friends at the Town River Yacht Club, Quincy Yacht Club and the Quincy Elks Lodge.  She enjoyed boating, traveling, dancing, kick boxing and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Barbara was the loving wife of Frank C. Bertoni, (Q.P.D., Retired) of Quincy.  Devoted mother of Jon Bertoni and his wife Randi of Quincy, and Jeffrey Bertoni and his wife Heather of Quincy.  Loving sister of Deb DiBella and her husband Joe of Rowley, and Dianna Sullivan and her husband Stephen of Braintree.  Cherised Nana to Jeffrey & Nicholas Bertoni. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
