Barbara J. “Midge” Driscoll, of Quincy, formerly of Wisconsin and Texas, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the Seasons Hospice in Milton. She was 74.

Born in Boston, she was raised in Roxbury and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alta (Wheeler) Driscoll. Midge attended local schools. Midge worked as a manager for dry cleaners for many years. She enjoyed her work and the relationships she built with the community.

Midge was an avid football fan. Her favorite team was the Green Bay Packers. In her younger years, Midge also enjoyed bowling with her friends. In her spare time, she liked to listen to music and most of all spend time with her family. She was a doting grandmother and loved the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandson.

Midge was the type of person that could light up a room. She was strong willed, enjoyed others, was loving and selfless. Her life lessons and example are part of her legacy that continues through her children, grandchildren and great-grandson. She will be missed by all the lives she touched.

Midge was the devoted mother of Mary L. Hinkley of Texas, Joseph W. Ray and his wife Pam of Wisconsin, Robert D. Ray and his wife Debra of Wisconsin and Melissa J. Brink and her husband Dan of Texas. She was the loving grandmother of Amanda, Christopher, Shaun, Jimmie Lee, JessiLynn, Michael, Sara, Emma and Patrick. She was the loving great-grandmother of Colin and the dear sister of Marion F. Flavin and her husband Frank of Quincy, Paul Driscoll of Quincy and John “Jack” Driscoll and his wife Ruth of Pembroke. Midge was preceded in death by her other seven siblings. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
