Golden, Barbara J. (Chrisom) of Quincy, died May 30, 2014.

Beloved wife of the late Paul E. Golden.  Loving mother of the late Paul Golden.  Devoted sister of Constance Boudreau of Quincy, Dolores Patrikis of Watertown and the late Patricia R. Chrisom, Alice Rawson and John Chrisom.  Barbara was also a cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Barbara was born in Quincy and was a graduate of North Quincy High School.  She worked for CNA Insurance for 15 years before retiring in 1992.  She was a talented artist and enjoyed traveling with her sister.  Barbara was a member of the Castle Island Association. She lived at John Adams Nursing Home for 8 years and was thankful for the many friends and excellent care she received while she was there.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday June 16th 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday June 17th  prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Donations in memory of Barbara may be made to NVNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA  02061.
