Barbara J. “Alice” Reddington

Reddington, Barbara J.  “Alice” of Rockland, died October 11, 2014.

Alice was born in Springfield then raised and educated in Brookline. There, she met her husband George and soon after got married and settled in Weymouth to raise their family. Alice enjoyed any kind of water especially the pool but most of all enjoyed spending time with her five grandsons. Alice was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered for her sense of humor and how she was always smiling.

Alice was predeceased by her loving husband George Reddington. Loving mother to Patricia McHugh and her husband William of Rockland and Robert Reddington of Manchester, NH. Devoted sister to Kevin Clifford and his wife Agnes and the Late Arthur Clifford, Mary Agnes Lester, Joan Breslin, Terrance Clifford, and David Clifford. Cherished grandmother to Colby, Austin, Keagan, Christopher, and Daniel.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
