Barbara H. Curran

Curran, Barbara H. of Quincy, originally South Boston, died April 29, 2021.  

Barbara loved her family and her faith. She was a devout Catholic and was an active parishioner of St. Joseph’s and St. Ann’s Church in Quincy. She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and Las Vegas, scratch tickets, and bowling. Barbara’s family would like to thank the staff at Spaulding Rehab in Brighton for their wonderful care while she was there. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Daughter of the late Mark and Katherine (McDonough) Curran. Cherished sister of Anna Calnan and her husband Butch of Braintree and the late Joseph Curran, John Curran, Mary Duquette, Michael Curran, and John Canavan. Dear friend of Grace LaFauci. Also survived by many loved and cherished nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Mass Friday at 10:30 AM in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please send donations in memory of Barbara to Spaulding Brighton Annual Fund, Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center, 100 North Beacon St., Brighton, MA 02134.
