Bray, Barbara G. (Alther) of Quincy, November 14, 2006. Devoted wife of the late Burton E. Bray. Loving mother of Burton and Roni Bray of Irvine, CA, and Brian Bray of Chester, NH. Cherished grandmother of Justin and Leah Bray of Irvine, CA. Step Sister of Shirley, Evelyn, Mary, and Gloria. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 3- 7 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:30. Mrs. Bray was a passionate artist, taking particular interest in oil painting. She also had a talent for music which included singing and piano playing. Barbara was a medical secretary for many years retiring in 1992. She was also a homemaker. Mrs. Bray was a fiercely independent woman and expressed her kind giving nature through active involvement in the Quincy Art Association where she did volunteer work for many years.
