Barbara F. Pineo

Pineo, Barbara F. (Gardiner) of Quincy November 8, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Robert S. Pineo, Sr. Loving mother of Amy E. Ericson and her husband Karl, James G., Sr., Patricia A. Miller, Katherine L. and her fiance Randy Hurst; all of Quincy and the late Robert S. Jr. and Richard L. Pineo. Loving sister of Marilyn Mahn of Quincy, Theodore of Weymouth, Donald of Trinidad, George of Quincy and William of Weymouth. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the First Baptist Church of Wollaston, 81 Prospect Ave., Quincy Thursday at 11 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. WOLLASTON. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Barbara worked as a nurses aid at Quincy Hospital early in her career. She then went to school at Quincy Vocational Technical school and received her nursing license. She then worked at Quincy Hospital and Milton Hospital for about 17 years retiring from Milton Hospital. Barbara never stopped working and even during her retirement years she worked at South Suburban Ear, nose and throat, Crestview Nursing Home and South Shore Elder Services. When she wasn’t working Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a 1948 graduate of North Quincy High School.
