Barbara F. Nicholson

Nicholson, Barbara F. (McNeil) of Quincy and Oak Bluffs, passed away November 3, 2018. She was 93.

After her husband’s retirement Barbara enjoyed traveling to Europe, winters in Florida and summers on Martha’s Vineyard. Barbara found joy when surrounded by her family while still encouraging us to expand our horizons. She had a loving impact on many, with a strength and compassion that lifted us all. She enjoyed quilting and the wonderful friends and pets that made her time on earth enjoyable.

Beloved wife of 65 years to the late William F. “Bill” Nicholson, Jr. Devoted mother of Janet Nicholson-Cronin of Abington, Heather Sexton (Jack) of CA and the late William F. Nicholson, III. Loving sister of Martha Scott of FL and the late Lois Iacoviello. Cherished Nana of Melissa, Rachel and Greg Cronin, Jackie and Alexandra Sexton. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 11 AM -1 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the funeral home at 1 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
