Barbara E. Nardo

Nardo, Barbara E. (Johnson) of Hingham, passed away peacefully August 10, 2011. Beloved wife of 51 years to the late Vito Nardo. Devoted mother of Lori Ann Magner and her husband Rich of Hingham and Thomas A. Nardo and his fiance Tricia Stevens of Weymouth . Cherished grandmother of Melissa and Timothy Nardo, Kevin, Molly and Jake Magner. Loving sister of Muriel Bailey of FL, Winthrop Riley of Weymouth and the late William Johnson. Sister-in-law of Angela Nardo of Hingham and Mannie Fuda of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Barbara enjoyed baking, sewing and crafts but her main passion was spending time with her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 9-11 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM. Burial in High Street Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Queen Anne Nursing Home, Activities Department, 50 Recreation Park Drive, Hingham, MA 02043.
