Barbara E. Mock

Mock, Barbara E. (DeYoung) of Quincy, passed away April 27, 2012. Beloved mother of Kevin C. Mock and his wife Donna and Deirdre A. Mock all of Quincy and the late Brian J. Mock. Cherished grandmother of Thomas Sullivan of Marshfield, Michael Sullivan of Quincy, Jeremy, Ryan and Kevin Mock all of Quincy and Shane McManus. Great-grandmother of 3 great grandchildren. Barbara was the former wife of the late Harold Mock and longtime companion of the late Richard E. Hornbrook. She was the second mother to Willy Leslie of Braintree. Barbara was also loving survived by the loving and caring Cameron Family. Barbara lived most of her life in Quincy. She worked for Fidelity Investments in Boston as a clerk on the trading desk for many years before retiring in 2010. Barbara loved to cook Sunday dinners for her family, entertain for the holidays, and always keeping her home open for her children’s friends to join in as well. She enjoyed trips to Martha’s Vineyard in the summer and in her earlier years was very active at the Atlantic Neighborhood Center and Welcome Young Park Fourth of July Parade Committee. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 9AM – 11AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
