Barbara E. Ketchum

Ketchum, Barbara E. (Brown), a lifelong resident of Hull, passed away April 11, 2009 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of James P. Ketchum of Hull and the late Donald J. Desmond. Loving mother of Donald Desmond of Hull and Barbara Currul of GA. Sister of the late Robert Brown. Loving “Nana” to 6 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Barbara worked as a waitress for Old Mill Grill and Pages in Hingham for over 30 years. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, gardening, and spending time with family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A life celebration service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM prior to leaving for the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery. Donations in memory of Barbara may be made to Wellspring Multi Service Center, 814 Nantasket Ave., Hull, MA 02045.
