Norton, Barbara B. “Bernie” (O’Brien) of Quincy, April 18, 2003. Wife of the late John A. Norton. Loving mother of Regina M. & her husband Samieh Zahran of Braintree, John A. Norton, II of Quincy, Brian T. Norton & his wife Jane (Barron) of Braintree, Elizabeth A. & her husband David Stellati of Winthrop, Matthew A. Norton & his wife Leslie (Hayes) of Pembroke and Maura B. & her husband Edward Page of Quincy. Sister of Mary Lawless of Wareham formerly of Weymouth, Margaret Coletta of E. Sandwich, William O’Brien of Dorchester and the late John Joseph, Patrick, James, Thomas Timothy O’Brien and Helen Eileen Sullivan. Sister-in-law of Mary Claire Cram, Margaret Norton, both of Punta Gorda, FL and Richard Norton of Hanover. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. Surrogate mother to over 50 nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Commital Service in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.Bernie was a Eucharistic Minister at Saint John’s Church in Quincy. She was an administrative assistant to the Pastoral Office at Quincy Medical Center and also worked for 17 years as an operator for New England Telephone/Verizon, retiring in 1997. Recently, she was president of the 2002 class of the Quincy Citizens Police Academy. She devoted her life to her family. Donations in memory Bernie may be made to Fr.
