Barbara Ann Saunders

Saunders, Barbara Ann (McPhee) of Quincy, died October 1, 2019.

Barbara adored her family. She always put others first and never said no to anyone. She was generous, compassionate, and thoughtful, never forgetting a birthday or special occasion. She loved Boston sports, especially the Red Sox. She enjoyed horse racing, going to the dog track, keeping her house clean, and was an excellent cook and baker. Barbara was an angel on earth and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved wife of the late Ralph H. Saunders. Loving mother of Bill Saunders and his former spouse Gayle Ericson Saunders of Haverhill, Frank Saunders and his spouse Carolyn of Saugus, and Gary Saunders and his spouse Charlene of Quincy. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 2-3 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a funeral home service at 3 PM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barbara may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place , Memphis, TN 38105.
