Barbara A. O’Brien

Barbara A. (Brett) O’Brien, of Weymouth, passed away on January 26, 2019. Barbara was born in Boston to the late Lauren and Helen (Brett) Agresta. She grew up in Roxbury and Dorchester and worked many years as a waitress in Boston and also did some hairdressing. Barbara enjoyed crocheting, going to Foxwoods, live musical entertainment and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all.

Wife of the late Robert J. O’Brien. Mother of Kathleen Flaherty, of Quincy, Robert J. O’Brien Jr. of Florida, Robin Schuka of Kingston, Michael O’Brien of Weymouth and John O’Brien of Quincy. SIster of Dorothy Cronin of Hyde Park, Donna Wise and her husband Ronald of Weymouth, Carol Agresta of Stoughton, and the late Kenneth Brett, Robert Agresta and Joseph Agresta. Grandmother of 5, and Great Grandmother of 4. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the burial service held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
