Barbara A. Bushman

Bushman, Barbara A. (Milligan) of Hanover, died September 22, 2013.

Barbara grew up in Cambridge and lived in Dorchester and Carver for many years before recently moving to Hanover. She worked as a field representative for the Bureau of the Census for over 30 years, retiring in 2011. She was an avid Red Sox fan. Barbara was blessed with a big family and many great friends who will miss her dearly. She will be remembered for her quick wit and great sense of humor. 

Beloved wife of the late Albert F. Bushman, Sr. Devoted mother of Albert F. Bushman, Jr. and his wife Karen of Dorchester, John J. Bushman and his wife Lisa White of Abington and Deborah Bushman and her fiancé Chris Fall of Dorchester. Cherished “Nana” of Marissa, Cara, Tracy, Emily, Janine, John Jr., Jessica and Justine. Loving sister of Joseph Milligan of Brockton, Rosalie Lyons of West Newton and predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mark’s Church, Dorchester  at 11 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the American Lung Assoc. of MA, 460 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA 02451.
