Barbara A. Flynn

Flynn, Barbara A. (Reardon) of Braintree, formerly of South Boston, passed away November 4, 2011. She was 76. Barbara worked as an executive secretary for State Street Bank, retiring in 1969. Upon retirement she dedicated her life to her family as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting, leaving her family with many beautiful blankets to remember her by. She also had a special place in her heart for her cats. She will be sadly missed. Beloved wife of 50 years to Peter W. Flynn (retired Q.P.D.) of Abington. Devoted mother of Heather Visconte and her husband Vito of Rockland. Cherished “Oma” of Nicholas and Alexa. Loving sister of Joan Garrity of Dorchester, John J. Reardon of South Boston and Marilyn Slattery and her husband William of Norwell. Also survived by her nephew Brian Slattery of Norwell. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 3-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral Service will follow at 6 PM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree at a later date.
