Barbara A. Brown

BROWN, (Goode) Barbara A., age 96, of Hingham, passed away on January 3, 2022. Born in Boston, MA to the late Thomas Francis and Marie Elizabeth (Connor) Goode. 

Raised in Brighton, Barbara attended Thomas A. Edison Jr. High and graduated from Brighton High School. Her family relocated to Weymouth in the late 50’s where she lived for over 30 years. Barbara worked as a nurse’s aid, a secretary at South Shore Hospital and worked in the Weymouth School System. Above all she was given the most joy in life fulfilling her role as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

Beloved wife of the late Douglas P. Brown. Devoted mother of Steven T. Brown of Texas, Scott P. Brown of Pembroke, MA, Susan M. Kelley of Tiverton, RI; Robyn Ann Mitton of Holliston, MA, Beth Ann Hackett of Abington, MA, and the late Gary Peter Brown of Mashpee, MA. Sister of the late Robert Goode and Lois Vidal. Barbara is survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. 

Barbara’s funeral services and interment will be held privately.
