Barbara A. Blake

Blake, Barbara A. (Morgan) of Pembroke formerly of Braintree, died April 2, 2016.  

Barbara worked for Beth Israel, Milton as a communication operator for over 25 years. Barbara loved going to Florida and cruising. She also enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods and playing bingo.  Her main passion in life was spending time with her large family and dear friends.  She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved wife of the late William M. Blake.  Loving mother of Barbara Brash and her husband Steven of Pembroke, Kathleen DiCarlo and her husband Anthony of Plymouth, Steven Blake and his companion Nancy Wilds of Myrtle Beach, Lisa Watts and her husband Gerard of Halifax, Donna DeLuca of Weymouth, and James Blake of Quincy.  Devoted Nana of 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Caring sister of Frances Bailey of Braintree, Kathleen Consalvo and her husband Donald of Leominster, Mary MacDonald and her companion John Fiumara of Pembroke and Gladys Earle of Danvers.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
