Boucher, Audrey A. (Rauscher) of Rockland, passed away March 14, 2013.
Audrey grew up in New Jersey and lived in Hingham for many years before moving to Rockland 10 years ago. She worked in Social Services for many years and enjoyed helping our youth. She was an active parishioner of Glastonbury Abbey and participated in any way she could by reading, being a lector, fundraising and being on the gardening committee. In her early years she enjoyed hiking and kayaking but recently her passion was gardening. She was a kind and outgoing woman and was blessed with many friends and family that will miss her dearly.
Beloved wife of Alan T. Boucher of Rockland. Devoted mother of Loren Ettwein and her husband Chad of Boston and step-mother of Nathan Boucher and his wife Jenny of New York. Loving daughter of Anna Rauscher of FL and the late Ernest Rauscher. Cherished “Nana” of Carter Ettwein, Abby & Finn Boucher. Great-niece of Alice Hermanns of FL. Also survived by many dear friends, especially her best friend Julie Frasier of Weymouth.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.) A memorial service will be celebrated on Thursday at 12 PM in the Glastonbury Abbey, Hingham. Reception to follow. Burial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Audrey may be made to the Glastonbury Abbey, 16 Hull Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
