Wigandt, Assunta A. “Sue” (Cianchetta) of Somerville, died on Saturday, November 14, 2009. Beloved wife of the late James L. Wigandt. Loving auntie of Nancy Cianchetta of Everett and Antoinette “Toni” Cianchetta of NH. Dear sister of the late Emidio “Ralph” Cianchetta. Sue volunteered for many years at St. Anthony’s Shrine in Boston and Mt. Auburn Hospital. She was an avid reader, a doll collector, and she loved to exercise. She will be truly missed by her family and her friends at Little Sisters of the Poor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, November 18th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Residence, 186 Highland Ave., Somerville, MA 02143. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in their Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Assunta “Sue” may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor,186 Highland Ave., Somerville, MA 02143.
