DeGrandis, Arthur of Quincy, passed away January 29, 2011. Beloved husband of Mary (Palmer) DeGrandis of Quincy. Loving step-father of Kathleen Palmer of Quincy, William F. Palmer of FL, and the late Anthony Palmer. Brother of the late Theresa Peluso, Rita Greenhalge, Antoinette Stafford, Guido DeGrandis and Ralph DeGrandis. Arthur was also survived by many nieces and nephews and several grandchildren. Arthur was born in Boston. He was a graduate of Roslindale High School and attended Bentley School of Accounting. Arthur worked for First National Stores for many years as a manager. He later worked at DeLuca’s Market on Charles St. in Boston for several years. Arthur was thought of by his family as a very kind and caring person. He enjoyed getting together with friends to play cards each week. He will be greatly missed by his wife Mary and his stepdaughter Kathy who fondly thought of him as a father and called him “Pa”. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 7 PM.
