Shields, Arthur L. of Quincy, January 30, 2003. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne L. Shields. Loving father of Jacquelyn Burkhead of Quincy, Christine M. Mirabito of Quincy, David A. Shields of Quincy, and Pamela J. Quigley of Weymouth. Brother of Charles Shields of Alton Bay, NH, Earl Shields of West Palm Beach, FL, Teresa Shields of Dedham and the late John, George, James, Francis B., Eileen Shields and Helen Shea. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Boniface Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. He served in the Army in the 101st Medical Regiment. He also served in the Coast Guard and was a Paratrooper.Member of the Elks, Knights of Columbus and VFW. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and boating. He was Past President of the Brook House Assoc.
