Arthur L. “Andy” Anderson, Iii

Mr. Arthur L., III “Andy” Anderson, of Weymouth, passed away suddenly on February 2, 2017. He was 72.

Mr. Anderson taught English for over 20 years at Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Dorchester. Arthur enjoyed visiting his friends at the Mill Wharf Restaurant in Scituate. He enjoyed reading and doing his daily crossword puzzles, and loved watching Jeopardy and the Red Sox. A proud and decorated Vietnam Veteran, Arthur served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and received the Purple Heart.

Beloved father of  Christina Madeira of Weymouth, Stephen Lacock of Marion, and Ronald Polo of Attleboro. Brother of Catherine Anderson, Patricia Galluccio, Helen DeCoste, and George Anderson. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Monday, February 13  from 11 AM – 12 noon in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), followed by Graveside Services at the Mass National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. at 1:30 PM.
