Tonucci, Arthur “Chip” P. of Hingham, February 6, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. The beloved husband of Cynthia (Olszewski) Tonucci . Devoted father of Jennifer J. Tonucci of Weymouth and Philip Tonucci of Hingham. Son of the late Arthur & Agnes Tonucci. Loving brother of Donna Tonucci of Scituate and Cynthia and her husband Daniel O’Connell of Weymouth. Son in Law of Ralph Olszewski of FL & MA and Constance Olszewski of Turners Falls, MA. Brother in law of Linda & Gerry Molongoski of Sunderland, Diana & Jim Jordan of Suffield, CT, Michael Olszewski of So. Deerfield and Mark & Lisa Olszewski of Shutesbury, MA. Cherished Uncle of Katie & Danny O’Connell and several other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham, Saturday at 7:30 am. Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 8:30 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4- 8 PM. Burial in High Street Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers,the family respectfully requests donations in memory of Chip be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 55584, Boston, MA 02205-5584 or Roxbury Latin Scholarship Fund, 101 St. Theresa’s Avenue, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Arthur P. “Chip” Tonucci was born in Boston and grew up in Quincy. He graduated from Boston College High School Class of 1969 and graduated from Northeastern University Class of 1974 . Chip worked at General Dynamics for 5 years before joining Tyco Electronics in Lowell where he most recently worked as a financial manager. Chip was an avid golfer, he enjoyed sports and coached little league. He received most of his enjoyment from his family, attending his childrens sporting events and being a dedicated father and loving husband. Chip was a loving father, a devoted husband a true gentleman who never complained through his courageous battle.
