Arlene P. Tenney

Tenney, Arlene P. (Garrity) of Quincy, died January 24, 2013.

Beloved wife of 52 years to David P. Tenney. Loving mother of Mary Smith and her husband, Kevin, of Quincy, Mark D. Tenney and his wife, Patricia, of Quincy, Kevin J. Tenney and his wife, Teresa, of Braintree, and Michael P. Tenney of Quincy. Sister of Sr. Patrice, SSND, of Connecticut, Jack Garrity of California, Bernadette Campbell of Norwood, and the late Patricia Heavey. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Boston, Arlene was a Registered Nurse for many years at Carney Hospital. Following her retirement, she also worked at HNRCA, Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging in Boston. She will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-4 P.M. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY., followed by a prayer service at 4 PM.  Burial wil be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Michael J.
