Antonio Pires

Pires, Antonio of Weymouth, died June 17, 2015.

Antonio grew up in Cape Verde and lived in Dorchester for many years prior to moving to Weymouth 20 years ago. 

Beloved husband of 49 years to Ana (Monteiro) Pires of Weymouth. Devoted father of Maria Canuto of Weymouth and Pedro Pires of Weymouth. Loving brother of Mario Pires of Dorchester, Juvinal Pires of Cambridge, Joaquim Neves of New Bedford and Luis Neves of New Bedford. Cherished “Dada” of Kimberly Canuto of Randolph, John Canuto of Weymouth, Sandra Canuto of Washington DC and Kristen Canuto of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 5-9 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Roxbury at 10 AM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
