Antoinette “Mary” Bomba

Bomba, Antoinette “Mary” (Puleo)  of Quincy, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on July 20, 2013. Mary was a wonderful cook and she truly enjoyed preparing meals for her family. She also enjoyed gardening. A member of the Castle Island Association,  Mary was also a member of the Wollaston Mother’s Club and a member of the Marianne’s Group at St. Ann’s Church in Wollaston. She attended lectures and luncheons with her friends at the Kennedy Senior Center. For more than 33 years, Mary was also the bookkeeper for her husband’s business the Liberty Service Gas Station in Boston.  She will be remembered as a kind and loving woman who always put her family first. She adored them and they cherished her, she will be sadly missed. 

The beloved wife of 58 years to the late Frank Bomba. Loving mother of Frank C. Bomba and his wife Susan of Boston, Leonard P. “Lenny” Bomba of Dorchester and Stephen C. Bomba of Lincoln, NH. Daughter of the late Charles & Grace (Gangi ) Puleo. Sister of Eleanor Puleo of Lynn and Salvatore Puleo of Colorado and the late Rose Ryan, Yolanda Signor and Tony and Philip Puleo.  Mary is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday from 8- 10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Followed by a  Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
