Anthony “Tony” Deicicchi

DeiCicchi, Anthony “Tony” of Hull, died on May 25, 2011, surrounded by the family he cherished. The beloved husband of 30 years to Kathy A. (Perry) DeiCicchi. Devoted father of Anthony DeiCicchi and his wife Nicole of Plymouth and David DeiCicchi of Hull. Son of the late Carman & Adele ( Scappaticci) DeiCicchi. Loving brother of Anna Gels and her husband Joseph of Dedham and Teresa Evangelista and her husband Thomas of Allston. Son in Law of John & Anna Maude Perry of Kingston. Anthony is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Anthony was born in Boston and grew up in the Northend. His childhood was rich with family love and tradition, which would later become the foundation for all that was important to him. A graduate of Wentworth Institute, he worked as an ironworker for Local # 7. Anthony worked for Kurtis Steel before he became owner/operator of Continental Steel Erection Company and Atlantic Coast Ornamental. He truly enjoyed his work and took great pride in everything he built, but nothing was as important as his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobling and traveling. He was a member of NRA as well as the Scituate Rod & Gun Club. The essence of his life was his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, a devoted father, a cherished brother and friend who brought laughter and adventure to the lives he touched, so characteristically of the way he lived his life. He will be sadly missed by all those who were lucky to have known him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be celebrated on Monday at 9:15 in the Funeral Home, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull on Monday at 10am. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hull Little League, P. O. Box 29, Hull, MA 02045.
