Anthony J. “Tom” Jacobs

Anthony J. “Tom” Jacobs, of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester and Roxbury, died March 21, 2022 at the age of 91.

Tom worked for Raytheon as an environmental tester for many years. He was a former member of Amvets Rice Post 28 in Dorchester. Tom enjoyed bowling, singing, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth J. “Betsy” (Choukas) Jacobs. Loving father of Stephen Jacobs and his wife Mary of Weymouth; Nancy Parker and her husband Mike of Foxboro; Mickey Jacobs of Weymouth; Kathy Roy and her husband Ken of Pembroke; and the late Paul Jacobs and his wife Maureen of Marshfield. Brother of the late Robert Jacobs, William Jacobs, and Linda Jacobs. Long time friend of John and Nancy Ronan of Braintree. Proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren (plus one on the way). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
