Anthony J. Cincotta, Jr.

Cincotta, Anthony J., Jr., age 64, of N. Weymouth, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013. 

“Tony C.” as he was affectionately known by his close friends was born and raised in Quincy.  He was a 1967 graduate of Quincy High School and a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a lifelong member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 17, and an amazing craftsman.  Some would say Tony would eat, breathe, and sleep sheet metal.  He was also a seasonal lobster man earlier in his life, both jobs he enjoyed very much.  There was no job he was more proud of than being a Dad.  Tony was a volunteer in Quincy for many cleanup projects and was committed to his civic duties.  He was a long time member of the Quincy Elks and also made many donations to Shriners.  Tony was many things and he will be truly missed. 

Loving father of Nicole Cincotta of Weymouth and grandfather to Jeremya.  Beloved son of Anthony Cincotta, Sr. of Weymouth, and the late Marjorie (Compston) Cincotta.  Husband of Lillian (Young) Cincotta of Weymouth.  Brother of Mark Cincotta and his wife Gert of Weymouth, Paula Cincotta of Quincy, and the late Albert Cincotta.  Uncle of Michael Cincotta.  Nephew to Ida Cincotta of Marlborough.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.  Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45 PM.  Donations in memory of Anthony may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
