Anthony “Chris” Ferrara

Anthony Christopher Ferrara, “Chris”  of Weymouth, passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2015, at the age of 43.

Dear son of Anthony Ferrara and Mary (Whalen) Ferrara of Weymouth.  Father to his cherished daughter Taylor Ferrara of Hamilton, MA.  Brother of Mark Ferrara and his wife Kimberly of Weymouth, and Michael Ferrara of Los Angeles.  Uncle to Nicholas, Erin and Marisa Ferrara of Weymouth.  Chris is also survived by his girlfriend Sandra MacLeod, her daughter Kyrsten, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Chris was a roofer by trade and had a love for sports.  He was a proud member of the 1989/1990 Weymouth High School football team that won the championship that season and was nominated and selected to play in the Shriners All Star Classic.  Chris loved his daughter Taylor and his family very much and was adored by many friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-7 p.m. followed be a funeral home service at 7 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.), Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chris’ memory to the LearnToCope organization (www.learn2cope.org), a support organization that offers education, resources, peer support and hope for parents and family members coping with a loved one addicted to opioids or other drugs.
