Anne M. Mates

Mates, Anne M. (Partsch) of Weymouth, died August 8, 2013 surrounded by her loving family, after a long battle with cancer. 

Anne worked for the Weymouth Food Pantry as the assistant director, which not only was her job but one of her passions.  She was always willing to help those who needed it.  Anne enjoyed arts and crafts, candlepin bowling and going to yards sales to find great bargains.  Her main passion was her family, Anne loved to study genealogy and discovering the details about her family.  She will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Pre-deceased by the love of her life Richard A. Mates.  Beloved mother of Richard Mates, Jr. and his wife Marie-Christine of Rockland, Craig Mates of Weymouth and Megan Mates of Rockland.  Loving daughter of Agnes (Bell) Partsch of Weymouth and the late Frank Partsch.  Devoted sister of Frank Partsch III and his wife Katherine of Vermont, Joseph Partsch and his wife Christine of Weymouth and Katherine Moakley and her husband Thomas of Weymouth.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and her dog Wrinkles. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
